Its been 2 weeks now since my husband handed in hes application to rabat embassy in morocco, Everyday im waiting for bad news, im on benifits and always overdrawn in the bank but my dad financally helps me all the time I provided a letter from my dad saying he will financially surport my husband if needed, will pay hes air fair hes application and for the solicitor costs for the application, my dad and 2 brothers have a big company and have done a job offer for him and would like him to start asap, i also included a job offer to me to start working next month also my tenancy agreement showing i have enough room for him, and a letter from my landlord say hes happy for my husband to come and stay in hes property i rent.. do u think thay will refuse it cos i have no money and always overdrawn but within my overdraft limit, im on child tax credit and income surport but the letter dose state i will be comming off benifits and starting work and a job offer for me to prove that,

I was reading at Aljazeera this morning that the Saudi consulate in Rabat has put some restrictions on Moroccan young ladies traveling to Mecca for Omra during this Holy month of Ramadan.
The reason the Saudies gave is that the girls has other intentions other than Omra.

What is the problem with packages received in Morocco these days?

I've heard that in Rabat postal customers are being charged huge rates to receive their packages, even more ridiculous than before.....lines 5 hours long today. What is going on there? Is this a new law and if so, why wasn't it announced on television so people could be prepared. They took one older man away in an ambulance because he collapsed there.
I sent two packages that arrived in November to two different people in Rabat, they didn't have this problem 3 months ago, paid nothing to pick up the packages and the lines were not long in the post office either. It was chaos today, one taken to the hospital from the stress. And yes the clerks were rude and possibly lied to the receiver saying that it would cost me more $$$ if they returned the package than it would cost them to pick it up. Is this an example of the new transparency in government or what???
I also mailed a card about the first week in January and it never arrived.

I sent from Royal Mail here and to that address whihc isnt dodgy at all. If you go to that poste maroc site which you suggetsed search for ones in Rabat and the one i sent it too comes up with about 15 others. You will see it clearly shows the post code 10000 and that its this address RABAT RPyl Bd Mohamed V 10000 0 37 72 21 80. Therfore it exists as i know it does as this is the palce where the post office told me to send it! it cant be Sale otherwise i would have posted to Sale but i ddint i posted it using this address POST RESTANTE, RABAT RP, 10000, MOROCCO. These are all facts of waht actaully happned, also i looked at Sale on the post maroc site and the postcodes were not 10000. I am assuming that 10000 is centre of Rabat and i can see this street on the map. Now, my question is where abouts is it on the street? to cut a long story short my friend had 30 minutes to get from here i.e. POST RESTANTE, RABAT RP, 10000, MOROCCO, to the UK embassy... hence why i need to know

Have just come back from Marrakech, my third visit in 3 years, and I really love that city. Just wanted to know what the job prospects are in the Marketing and Advertising industry in Marrakech, I have a feeling these jobs are mostly found in Casablanca and Rabat, but with tourism and property in Marrakech I am hoping the need for advertising and marketing jobs will arise. I recently graduated with a degree in Marketing and Advertising, cannot speak French to a professional standard but can get by in daily situations using French e.g using taxi's, in shops and basic small talk. I am also able to use photoshop, Indesign and flash to a adequate level/
I want to get paid enough to live ok. My ideal life would be a new apartment in Gueliz, a nice car (something like a BMW 3 series, not too expensive of flashy but just comfortable) and enough to save so I can buy an apartment after a few years.

Hii Im a Moroccan girl living in England and hoping to study European studies and french at university. My dad thought it would be a good idea to spend my gap year in Morocco studying french so that I would hopefully be fluent before i started my course at Uni. Although I am fluent in arabic and have been there many times i dont feel that I would fit in with the natives as such =S does anyone know of any french schools for french people? rather than Moroccans studying french? Also Ive found this school in Rabat INSTITUTE FOR LANGUAGE AND COMMUNICATION STUDIES does anybody know any information about this school thanks in advance :)
